The memorial service for Lyle O. Allen was today at First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Carol L. Shaffer officiated. Private family burial was in the church columbarium wall.

Mr. Allen, 82, of 937 Sixth Ave. S.W., died early Monday morning (Feb. 26, 1996) at St. Marys Hospital.

A Rochester resident since 1946, he was a teacher for 42 years, 31 of which were spent teaching social studies at the Central and John Marshall high schools. Mrs. Allen is a retired Elton Hills Elementary School teacher.
