Bruce Milton Cady passed away on March 8, 2017, at his home due to respiratory failure.

Bruce was born Jan. 11, 1957, in Zumbrota, to Milton and Dorothy (Koelsch) Cady.

Bruce graduated from John Marshall High School in Rochester and then attended Rochester Vo-Tech. He studied Horticulture and then worked for the DNR. Also, he worked for many years at Seneca Foods. He had recently planted some of his land with plants for the local birds, animals and especially deer.

Bruce is survived by his mother, Dorothy; many close cousins; and his dog, Dakota. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton; his sister, Debra; maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, at the Douglas Methodist Church in Douglas. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, at the church. Burial will be at the Center Grove Cemetery in Douglas.

Memorials are preferred to the Douglas Methodist Church or Center Grove Cemetery in Douglas.
