Kenneth Ross Johnston, age 69, of Adams, Minnesota, and formerly of Pine Island, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Cedar Court in Adams. Ken was born on February 28, 1957, in Rochester, Minnesota, to Donald and Patricia (Gilbertson) Johnston. He graduated from John Marshall High School in Rochester. Ken worked for many years as a truck driver for Wayne Trucking and at Hader Farms in Hader, Minnesota. He loved cars, driving semi, and working on lawn mowers. He was very good at anything mechanical. 

Ken is survived by his son, Kyle Schmitt of Mondovi, Wisconsin; grandson, Kyle Johnston; sister, Christine O’Brien; brother, Eric Johnston; and sister-in-law, Diane Johnston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Patricia; and brother, Doug Johnston.

A celebration of Ken’s life will be held from 10:00-12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin are assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
