Randall Paul "Randy" Rose of Rochester passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 7th, 2017 at the age of 60.
Randy is survived by his parents Marvin and Joan (Lukehart) Rose of Rochester; sisters Marcy Rose-Moehnke (Scott) of Katy, TX, Cathy Rose-Sikich (Mark) of Cottage Grove, MN; children Melissa Rose of Apple Valley, MN, Blake Rose (Chasity) of Minneapolis, MN, Taryn Rose (Eric) of Coon Rapids, MN, Clark Rose (Megan) of Fort Lewis, WA and Kayla Rose (Mitch) of Woodbury, MN; grandchildren Beau, Arabella, Axel, Everly, Calvin, Addison, Charlie, and Graham; and best friend Ward Maser.
He was born July 16, 1957 in Endicott, NY. Shortly after he moved to Rochester, MN where he spent his childhood. Randy attended Rochester Central Lutheran School, John Marshall High School, and Concordia College - St. Paul. Randy raised his children in the Twin Cities and recently moved back to Rochester.
Randy spent many years working as a Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). He went on to start his own business and was very proud of it.
Randy had a passion for football. He began playing in grade school, played on two John Marshall State Championship teams, and started four years at Concordia College - St. Paul, officiated all levels of football and basketball, and was an avid Vikings fan.
He was a grill master and loved cooking with his family. He enjoyed traveling, both for work and for fun. He loved anything to do with the outdoors, especially camping and gardening.
His greatest joy was his family and he loved his children with his whole heart. He touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all.
Private services will be held. Memorials are preferred to Rochester Central Lutheran School
